Book Review - A Seahorse in the Thames

One of my favourite treats in life is the discovery of a new (to me) author, who has written a host of books, just waiting for me to read! Last week I experienced this very same treat when I read a book entitled, A Seahorse in the Thames, by Susan Meissner

Set in The USA, it tells the story of Alexa, who is off work, recovering from minor surgery. She falls in love with Steve, a carpenter sent to work on her apartment building. He is facing his own difficulties. Meanwhile, Alexa’s brain-injured sister has gone missing. Priscilla, Alexa’s twin returns from England and adds her secrets to the plot.

We are taken on a journey of personal discovery with hidden and unexpected depths. Emotional twists and turns will keep you reading and hoping to the very end.
